We lost our baby girl Emily on the 20th February.
Everything was going so well. At the 20 week scan we were told that we were having a girl and she
was perfect. On the 19th Feb mummy woke up in pain. We rang the hospital and they told us to go
straight in. When we got to the hospital we were taken into the maternity assessment ward where a
midwife took Mummy's blood pressure and checked your heartbeat.
We were told that your heartbeat was very strong, but that you had no amniotic fluid protecting you
and that Mummy was in labour. We were taken up to the delivery ward where we were told we just had
to wait.
The labour pains stopped after a few hours and Mummy finally managed to get some sleep. Around 1.30
in the afternoon the waters broke and we knew then that we would lose you. At 12 midnight the labour
pains started again and you were born at 2.10am.
You never got the chance to breathe Emily as your lungs were not developed enough. You was born
perfect in every way. The midwife took you away to clean you up and then brought you back to us in a
tiny Moses basket and we held you with us all night.
We were able to spend 3 days with you Emily as Mummy was poorly and had to stay in hospital.
We will never forget those 3 days we had with you Emily.
Emily is the second Angel baby we have lost, having lost a baby boy 3 and a half years ago.
Mummy,Daddy and big sis Joanne love you both so much, sleep tight little ones

Way up in the clouds high above
are beautiful angels full of love
they think of their loved ones every day
and send them peace as they kneel to pray
they say a prayer for those below
who deeply love and miss them so
they vanish all their emptiness and fears
although there is a distance they are by our side
they have seen the emptiness and the tears cried
they are always near and always will be
alive in our hearts today and for eternity

and each day turns into night
my life moves on without you

I wonder what the point can be

It's at that point I understand
why I am here and you are not
god needed someone special
that's why he called your name...
My life is still yet to come to an end
the reasons are clear to see
I still have a very important job to do
to keep your memory alive...
So many people yet to show
just how special you really are
to teach them what you lived for
and help them on their way...
When at last my duty is done
and we are reunited in love forever

My husband has finally gone to work
My children have finished their play
they've gone to bed their stories read
Now it's my time of day.
I've had one of those days
you know what I mean
so I sit back and relax
and turn on my screen.
I'll talk to all my friends
who know just what to say
to make my stresses go
and my troubles fade away.
My friends you're always there for me
whenever I feel blue
and though we've never met before
I know our friendships true.
And although we haven't been friends for long
in this short time it seems
we shared so many things already
our hopes, our fears, our dreams.
We come from different walks of life
but we share a common bond
and it's time to say that of all of you
I've grown so very fond.
So thank you friends for being there
whenever I've needed you
I know you're always there for me
and you know I'm there for you.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support. I feel i was just coming to terms with losing my dad when i lost my brother Allan. When someone takes their life your left feeling devastated because they made a choice to leave. All i know is that GTS has given me and Elaine so much comfort over the last few months and your one of the reasons that a smile comes to our faces, so thank you once again, love to you and your Angel, Julie x x x

Once upon a time...
The colours of the world started to quarrel
all claimed they were the best,
the most important, the most useful
the favourite
GREEN said...
Clearly I am the most important
I am the sign of life and of hope
I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves
without me all animals would die
look over the countryside
and you will see that I am in
the majority
BLUE interrupted...
You only think about the earth
but consider the sky and the sea
it is the water that is the basis of life

from the deep sea
the sky gives space and peace and serenity

Finally INDIGO spoke...
Much more quietly than all the others
but with just as much determination
think of me I am the colour of silence
you hardly notice me
but without me you all become superficial
I represent thought and reflection
twighlight and deep water
you need me for balance and contrast
for prayer and inner peace
And so the colours went on boasting
each convinced of his or her own
superiority
their quarreling became louder and louder
suddenly there was a startling
flash of bright lightening
thunder rolled and boomed
rain started to pour down
relentlessly
the colours crouched down in fear
drawing close to one another for comfort
In the midst of the clamour
RAIN began to speak...
you foolish colours, fighting
amongst yourselves
each trying to dominate the rest
don't you know that you were
each made
for a special purpose
unique and different
join hands with one another
and come to me
doing as they were told,
the colours united and joined hands
The RAIN continued...
form now on when it rains
each of you will stretch across
the sky
in a great bow of colour
as a reminder
that you can all live in peace
for a RAINBOW is a sign of hope and tomorrow

Friends are like flowers in the garden of life
they help you through times of trouble and strife

I see a little angel coming down from above
Spreading good wishes and loads of love
She's fluttering around me, I wonder why
She just appeared right out of the sky
Maybe I need a little angel in my life
To help me with all my troubles and strife
She sticks to me like a piece of gum
Teaching me to love and care for everyone
'Do a good deed each day' she says
And you will be rewarded in so many ways
A smile, a hug and a kind word or two
To brighten up others, to help them get through
Everyday you need to do something kind
Those people who are struggling sure won't mind
As you will surely have made their day
They will then talk to others and will always say

Although our lives have changed
and the pain will some what subside so they say
i'm truly grateful for this GONE TOO SOON GROUP
with hugs and candles and support
